Liz has been working to improve health and wellbeing in Norfolk for more than 15 years. She has a background in public health, leading and managing numerous health improvement interventions for Norfolk County Council. She has been part of the Diabetes Team for 18 months and recently taken on the role to manage the Diabetes programme.
Working closely with service providers she continues to oversee and lead the development of:
• Secondary Prevention interventions e.g. NDPP, Structured Education T2DR and T2DaY
• Pathway Transformational interventions e.g. Type 1 Disordered Eating (T1DE), Transitioning Young Adult (TYA) and Enhanced Diabetes Primary Care pilots, Multi-Disciplinary Footcare Teams, Diabetes In-patient Specialist Nursing Teams, insulin provision in the community, Diabetes Technologies.
