Lynne spent over 13 years working within the pharmaceutical sector. Her last position was for a leading diabetes company.
Lynne’s passion has always been education and training with the primary aim to improve outcomes (and therefore quality of life) for adults living with diabetes, regardless of their age or circumstances - she believes that an educated and empowered workforce is crucial to achieve this.
Since DUET diabetes Limited's inception in 2015, Lynne and her colleagues have helped numerous social care and healthcare providers increase the knowledge and confidence of their team members through clinically (and role) relevant interactive workshops.
Lynne is a Member of the National Advisory Panel on Care Home Diabetes, co-author of ‘Enhancing diabetes care for the most vulnerable in the 21st century: Interim findings of the National Advisory Panel on Care Home Diabetes (NAPCHD), Diabetic Medicine 2023’, a mentor for the Care Quality Network (cqn) and a member of the advisory board for Quic Diabetes Framework.
